Alabama-Birmingham Grounds was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Colorado Herd and UAB Dragons.

The Colorado Herd did just enough to sneak past the UAB Dragons, 4-3, at Alabama-Birmingham Grounds. Colorado pitcher Kevin Lynch, in particular, had a standout performance. Brenton Walker recorded the save, his 7th.

Colorado used the timely hitting of Bill Myers to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Herd ahead, 3-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"I had a good game," said Myers. "Winning makes it even better."

Colorado has a record of 20-12, placing them third in the Western 10 Conference.
