Wicked Witches Turn Away Chili Peppers, 3-2
The Central Florida Wicked Witches picked up a win at Central Florida Grounds, knocking off the UCLA Chili Peppers, 3-2. On the mound for Central Florida was right-hander Malcolm Ivey, who played a pivotal role in the win. Earning his 6th save of the year was Cisco García. At 12-21, the Wicked Witches find themselves in 9th place in the American Heartland Conference.

The Wicked Witches benefited from an error in the bottom of the second inning. Central Florida was trailing 1-0 when Tim Barnes hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Central Florida in front, 2-1.

"Winning is not something we take for granted," Barnes said.
