The Central Florida Wicked Witches got a sterling performance from pitcher George Assheton, but the Indiana Big Daddies still prevailed, 4-1. Assheton threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The winner was Jeff Lucas in relief. His record improves to 1-3. Troy Stewart took the loss. With the win, the Big Daddies have a record of 17-24.

Indiana used the timely hitting of Marcos Dávila to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Big Daddies on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Dávila called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
