The timely hitting of Christof Pilsner helped the Kalamazoo Badgers down the Palm Springs Codgers, 4-2. Pilsner went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Badgers. At 27-22, the Badgers claim second place in the Sovereign League Great Lakes.
Pilsner had a key at-bat for Kalamazoo early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and gave Kalamazoo an early 2-0 lead.
"We did enough to win," said Pilsner.
