Malts Pull Even With 2-1 Victory
|
In a well-pitched game between the Madison Malts and the Aurora Borealis, pitcher Seong-chin Kim was superb. The Madison left-hander helped his team win, 2-1. With the win over Aurora, the Malts improved to 25-25.
Bill Phillips, the former first round draft pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Phillips contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Madison up, 2-0.
"There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said Phillips. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."
