Mariachis Get Past Naucalpan for 2-1 Win
|
The Ciudad Acuna Mariachis took Naucalpan pitcher Félix García's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Mariachis Ballpark. The final score had Ciudad Acuna getting past the Cafe Tacvbas, 2-1. García went 5 innings and allowed no runs, striking out 3. Naucalpan is 6-8 after the loss.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Ciudad Acuna designated hitter César Jiménez, facing Jesús Mireles, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Mariachis the 2-1 win.
