García Paces Warriors to 4-3 Win
|
The Ikari Warriors topped the Hamilton Industrialists, 4-3, in Pacific Alliance action at Hamilton Grounds. The standout performance belonged to Ikari pitcher and Güines, Cuba, native António García. The first-place Warriors improved to 40-23.
Though he did not get the decision, García did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 6.1 innings, until Ikari eventually rallied past the Industrialists.
"If we play well, we'll win our share of games," said García. "The only team that can beat us is us."
