Lodoss first baseman Jian-guo Niu pounded Quebec City Frenchies pitchers at Quebec City Ballpark, but it was not enough to keep the Spell Swords from falling, 9-4. Niu went 3-4 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. The winning pitcher was Axel Jacoby. His record is now 6-5. The right-hander went 7.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits for the Frenchies. At 45-29, the Frenchies claim second place in the Pacific Alliance Maple Leaf.
