Stampede Fall Short, 4-3, at Gatineau
The Gatineau Balloonists racked up a win at Ballonists Ballpark, bumping off the Calgary Stampede, 4-3. Carlos Colón, who started for Gatineau, pitched effectively for his team. The Balloonists go to 33-43, putting them 5th in the Pacific Alliance Maple Leaf.

Brian McKinney had a big 2-run double for the Balloonists in the bottom of the second inning. With Gatineau leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Elio Polandi and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Balloonists ahead, 4-0.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Calgary manager Mario García. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
