Oilers Stay Hot With 4-1 Win
|
Long Beach Oilers starter Gustavo Longoria was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Boise Remuda, 4-1. The first-place Oilers are 43-23.
One of the key players for the Oilers was right fielder Reijiro Yamaguchi, who drilled a double in the bottom of the fifth inning. For the game, Yamaguchi went 2-3 with 2 doubles.
"Winning breeds more winning, I guess," said Yamaguchi.
