Caraballo Now 2-2 After Subduing Trendsetters
|
San Antonio used a superb performance from starting pitcher Luis Caraballo to down the New Orleans Trendsetters, 1-0. Bartolo Torres was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 14 of 16 save opportunities. San Antonio, with the win, is 46-88.
Caraballo dominated for San Antonio, raising his record to 2-2. New Orleans hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 3 hits over 8 innings while striking out 3.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said San Antonio skipper Roberto Ortega.
