Boise beat Tacoma on the strength of starter Yub Issa's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-2. Issa picked up the win for Boise, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 8-3. The save went to Herb Williams, number 16 for him.

Boise used the timely hitting of Thomas Galindo to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Remuda ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Boise manager Gilberto Caro.

At 42-29, the Remuda find themselves in second place in the Humboldt.
