Herrera Hits Two Dingers, Vampiros Win, 10-8
Nelson Herrera had a 6-RBI game, during El Ray's 10-8 triumph over the San Luis Potosi Jardineros. Herrera contributed 1 single and 2 home runs to the cause. El Ray reliever Raúl Reyes picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Lorenzo Fracso was saddled with the loss. The third-place Vampiros lifted their record to 18-17.

Herrera had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-2 sinker from Lorenzo Fracso, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Vampiros a 10-8 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Herrera.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said El Ray manager Ángel Alvarado.
