Zapopan catcher Lorenzo Rangel had a good game, even if his team did not. The Torrenas dropped a 5-2 decision to Ecatepec at Ballpark of Ecatepec. Rangel was 3-3 with 2 doubles and a walk. Ramiro Gómez, credited with the win, is now 2-2. He allowed no runs on 1 hit. The Morelos now have a record of 19-23.

Ecatepec took a 4-2 lead on Fernando León's 4th double of the season. The 2-run double, which León hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Zapopan pitcher Ricardo Encarnación visibly frustrated.
