The San Luis Potosi Jardineros and Acapulco Zambullidores del Acantilado were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Acapulco pitcher Jesús Flores did his part in helping his team beat the San Luis Potosi Jardineros, 6-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Flores, now 3-3, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. Jorge Castro earned the save for Acapulco, his 1st of the year.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Lorenzo Ramírez? The Acapulco designated hitter had a run-scoring ground out in the top of the third inning to put the Zambullidores del Acantilado on top, 2-0. For the game, Ramírez had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
