Sols Lose to Jardineros in Walk Off
|
San Luis Potosi beat Hermosillo at San Luis Potosí Grounds, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to second baseman Sixto Ramírez. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. San Luis Potosi reliever Claudio Camacho picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Aurelius Aragán absorbed the loss. The Sols, now 30-26, have lost 4 straight.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when San Luis Potosi right fielder Miguel Deleón, facing Aurelius Aragán, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Jardineros the 6-5 win.
"This place was rockin'," said Deleón.
