Mariachis Turn Back Coyotes, 3-2

The Nezahualcoyotl Coyotes and Ciudad Acuna Mariachis delighted fans at Mariachis Ballpark.
Ciudad Acuna Mariachis starter Júlio Ramos was in fine form against the Nezahualcoyotl Coyotes at Mariachis Ballpark, leading his team to a win, 3-2. Ramos got the win, improving to 2-4. He allowed 7 hits and walked 2 over 7.2 innings. Ramos allowed 2 runs.
Ángel Rivera had a big solo home run for the Mariachis in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Ciudad Acuna leading 2-1 and the bases empty, he got a fastball from Luis Farías and swatted a home run to left. It was his 8th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Mariachis ahead, 3-1.
"It was a solid team effort," Rivera said. "That's usually what it takes to win."
The win has Ciudad Acuna at 21-38.
