The Zapopan Torrenas put together a convincing win at San Luis Potosí Grounds, defeating the San Luis Potosi Jardineros, 17-2. David Pérez was one of the hitting stars. He went 2-4 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for Zapopan. Tony Alvarado got the win, improving to 4-4. He held the Jardineros to 2 runs on 5 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 1 and walking 4.
