Torres, San Luis Potosi Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
The San Luis Potosi Jardineros got a magnificent performance from pitcher Ramón Torres, who muffled the Merida offense en route to a tight 2-0 Jardineros win at Adelantados Ballpark. Earning his 8th save for San Luis Potosi was Claudio Camacho. With the win, San Luis Potosi upped its record to 36-29.

Torres ran roughshod over the Merida lineup. The left-hander allowed just 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 6. With the victory, he goes to 6-3 on the season.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Torres said.
