Thoroughbreds Maes Lost for Year Sunday, August 3rd, 2025 The season is finished for Neil Maes of the Kentucky Thoroughbreds. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Thoroughbreds starting pitcher suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the New Orleans Trendsetters. Team doctors said it would take at least 3 months to heal. To date this season Maes is 7-7 with 21 starts and an ERA of 4.07 with 75 strikeouts in 130.1 innings. |
