LF River Pope Out Monday, November 10th, 2025 River Pope is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Aurora organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 3 weeks with a strained back muscle. The 30-year-old left fielder suffered the injury making a defensive play in a recent game against the Crystal Lake Sandgnats. This season Pope is batting .323 with 177 hits, 5 home runs, 51 RBIs, 83 walks, .414 OBP and has scored 98 runs. He has played in 135 games. |
