Paul Carlisle out of Lineup, Listed DTD Sunday, July 5th, 2026 The topic du jour around Aurora is whether Paul Carlisle of the Borealis will suit up for today's contest. He was injured yesterday against the Bulldozers while making a defensive play. The standout 30-year-old right fielder has an elbow sprain and didn't rule out playing, but did say that if pain persisted, he would not risk further injury. "Paul will play if he can," said the team doctor. "He hasn't got a major injury, but at the same time, we need to monitor the situation and protect him as much as possible." So far this season Carlisle has gotten 74 hits in 249 at-bats for a .297 batting average with 14 home runs. His stats include 51 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has played in 73 games. |
