Kentucky's Gallagher to Miss 5 Weeks Tuesday, September 7th, 2027 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Thoroughbreds when after today's game against the Calzones of Laredo, the club found out they would be without the services of Bill Gallagher for at least 5 weeks. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Gallagher was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered a herniated disc. Crunching the numbers on Gallagher for the year, he has made 56 relief appearances, recorded 3 saves and compiled a 7-3 won-lost mark and 2.41 ERA. In pitching 71 innings, he has totaled 95 strikeouts and 33 walks. |
