Claymores, Harpoon Confirm Swap Monday, May 15th, 2028 You can't always get what you want, but sometimes you find a deal anyway. The Baseball News Network is reporting that Scottish and Hartford have made a swap with 22-year-old minor league RHP Ken Turner being shipped to the Harpoon and in return the Claymores would get 19-year-old minor league RHP Tam Lochhead. Scottish general manager Victor Caleca said the two sides were close to a blockbuster trade before agreeing upon a smaller scale transaction. "This is just a bit of housekeeping compared to what we wanted to do," he said. "I won't name names, but the potential deal we were close to making would have certainly grabbed some headlines." A source inside the Scottish organization said the two sides might not be done dealing, and another transaction could be in the works. |
