Reyes Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Friday, May 26th, 2028 Nobody has been able to shut down Crystal Lake Sandgnats center fielder Orlando Reyes in recent days. The Yuma Bulldozers fared no better than the rest. Today at John Deere Stadium, Reyes picked up 1 hit in 4 at-bats en route to a 3-1 Sandgnats victory. It stretched his hitting string to 20 consecutive games. Orlando Reyes singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, struck out in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. This year Reyes is batting .266 with 10 home runs and 32 RBIs. In 47 games he has scored 24 times. |
