Crystal Lake, Neo-Tokyo Deal Made Monday, July 31st, 2028 Reports have surfaced that Crystal Lake has agreed to send a 3rd round draft pick to the Neo-Tokyo Akira in exchange for 27-year-old LF Bob Blanchard. "It's a done deal," said one executive speaking on the condition of anonymity. "I'm surprised word got around so quickly. We just signed off on this an hour ago." The deal apparently is awaiting physicals before an official announcement is made by either team. So far this season Blanchard has hit .240 with 6 home runs, 35 RBIs and scored 47 times. |
