IL Pitcher of the Month Goes to Sai Tuesday, August 1st, 2028 Akio Sai has been around the league long enough to know that relievers are often overlooked. That has never stopped him from doing what he does best -- and he did it extremely well in July and stole away with the Imperial League Pitcher of the Month award. The Bureaucrats bullpen ace collected 6 saves and 9 strikeouts in 14 innings, holding the opposition to a .143 average and posting a 1.29 ERA and a 3-0 record. To date this year Sai has fashioned a 3.45 ERA over 47 innings with a 5-4 record. He has made 49 relief appearances with 29 strikeouts and 22 saves. |
