West Virginia Loses Corona for Year Saturday, September 16th, 2028 A blow for Manuel Corona today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 9 months with a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. Corona suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the West Virginia Alleghenies are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Corona's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This year Corona has worked 138.2 innings with 69 strikeouts en route to a 6-3 record and a 3.44 ERA. |
