Harpoon-Bulldozers Swap: Nishi for McNeal Friday, January 19th, 2029 After prolonged negotiations Hartford agreed to ship 19-year-old minor league 2B Sadatake Nishi and a 1st round draft pick to Yuma for 28-year-old LHP Melvin McNeal. The deal is awaiting confirmation from the league office but neither team expects any hang-ups. "It took longer than expected," said one GM, "but we knew that the deal was going to happen." In his career McNeal has notched 22 wins and 30 losses and compiled a 3.69 ERA. |
