Veteran Rivera, Charleston Complete Deal Saturday, January 20th, 2029 The Charleston Statesmen have called a press conference later today to announce the signing of starting pitcher Carlos Rivera to a 1-year, $6,610,000 contract. Both Rivera and the Statesmen are said to be very pleased to come to this agreement. Since coming into the league, Rivera has a 174-133 mark and a 3.59 ERA. The 36-year-old hurler also has struck out 2557 batters in 2787 innings and permitted 2662 hits. |
