Florida-Shin Seiki Trade: Takeuchi for Sato Saturday, February 3rd, 2029 It took some time to iron out the details, but the Featherheads and Evas have agreed to a swap. Shin Seiki will get 35-year-old minor league LF Ryozo Takeuchi with Florida receiving 24-year-old minor league LF Takeji Sato in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. Lifetime Takeuchi is batting .255 with 903 hits, 247 home runs, 552 runs scored and 631 RBIs. |
