Florida Trades Matsumoto for Bakersfield's Zúñiga Saturday, February 10th, 2029 The Florida Featherheads have released a statement confirming the trade of 27-year-old LHP Pedro Marquis, 31-year-old LF Mushanokoji Matsumoto, 18-year-old minor league 3B Emílio Ibarra and a 1st round draft pick to the Bakersfield Bears for 25-year-old minor league RHP Steven Miller, 28-year-old minor league LF Eugenio Zúñiga, 21-year-old minor league C Roberto Ortega, 22-year-old minor league RHP Manuel Serrano and $10,000,000 in cash. The deal was finalized today. Matsumoto has played in 410 games with a .205 career batting average and 268 hits. He also has scored 170 runs and driven in 182 runs with 64 home runs. |
