González Suspended, Out 4 Games Tuesday, June 19th, 2029 It was both entertaining and embarrassing to see. Reno second baseman Gonzalo González really got rowdy at Washoe Field yesterday in a game against the Fargo Dinosaurs. It all started with a called third strike and ended up with González being ejected from the game. In between he screamed at several umpires, kicked dirt on them and made several obscene gestures. All of this is frowned upon by the league office. Today they suspended González for 4 games. He could not be reached today for comment. Thus far this year González is hitting .246 with 2 home runs, 20 RBIs and 24 runs scored. |
