Kim Slams 5 Hits for Yuma
Saturday, June 23rd, 2029
Yeong-hun Kim knows as well as anyone that in baseball, the biggest contracts go to the biggest hitters. At Doyle Buhl Stadium today, he made his case to be considered among that group.

The 28-year-old second baseman hammered 5 hits in 5 chances, though the remarkable effort came even as his Yuma Bulldozers fell, 7-5, to the Duluth Warriors.

"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," Warriors manager Kijuro Yoshida told BNN sportswriters after the game. "Thankfully, we were able to do enough elsewhere that Kim wasn't the difference."

Yeong-hun Kim singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Steve Hott in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

In 71 games this season Kim has compiled a .208 batting average with 56 hits and 8 home runs. He has also scored 25 times and knocked in 26 runs.
