Thoroughbreds Lose Marcos Sánchez Saturday, July 21st, 2029 The Kentucky Thoroughbreds will lose the services of third baseman Marcos Sánchez after he sustained shoulder tendinitis while colliding with a player at a base in today's game against the Havana Leones. "I'll get through it," Sánchez said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 7 weeks. So far this season Sánchez has hit .307 with 16 home runs, 68 RBIs and scored 52 times. |
