Great Week for Hartford's Haden Shawver Monday, September 17th, 2029 At the age of 31, Haden Shawver might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Hartford first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .440 batting average. For his efforts Shawver collected the Imperial League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 2 home runs and 8 RBIs last week in 7 games. This year Shawver is hitting .299 with 138 hits, 13 home runs, 61 RBIs and has scored 50 runs. |
