Fargo-Bakersfield Deal: Nelson for Kim Thursday, January 12th , 2040 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Dinosaurs announced today the acquisition of 21-year old minor league 3B Jun-hyuk Kim and 22-year old minor league SS Matt Williams from the Bakersfield Bears in exchange for 24-year old minor league 3B Boyd Nelson, 25-year old minor league RHP Albert Salgado, and 24-year old minor league 2B Tamuramaro Kichikawa. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Dinosaurs, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." |
