Reno Swaps Boone to Scottish for Daikawa Monday, March 19th , 2040 It took some time to iron out the details, but the Zephyrs and Claymores have agreed to a swap. Scottish will get 24-year old minor league LHP Kenny Boone, a 4th round draft pick, a 5th round draft pick, and a 6th round draft pick with Reno receiving 25-year old 3B Kenkichi Daikawa in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. During his career, Daikawa has played in 301 games, batted .243 with 80 home runs and 243 base hits. |
