3-HR Game for Hernández Tuesday, April 3rd , 2040 Pedro Hernández went on an explosive hitting spree against the Fargo Dinosaurs at Jurassic Park today, launching a trio of blasts to lead the Okinawa Shisa to the 7-6 win. The catcher finished 3-for-4 with 3 runs scored and 6 runs batted in. "It was just one of those days," Hernández said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball." Fargo skipper Cristóbal Gabriel said Hernández was "locked-in." "We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him." Pedro Hernández hit a three-run home run off Francisco Luna in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Francisco Luna in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Iván Canseco in the 7th. |
