Palm Springs Stops Caporn's Hit Streak Saturday, April 14th , 2040 The Palm Springs Codgers clamped down on Li Caporn and put a stop to his hit streak. He went without a hit, ending the run at 22 straight games, but it didn't keep the Apollos from winning. Tempe downed the Codgers 3-1. "It was bound to happen," Caporn said with a shrug after the game. Caporn is currently batting .340 with 5 home runs, 11 RBIs and 9 runs scored. He has 17 hits in 50 at-bats. |
