Docherty Named 2038 RML Outstanding Hitter Award Winner Monday, October 25th , 2038 The future looks extremely bright for Dave Docherty. At the age of 24, many players are still trying to find their way in Global Baseball Brotherhood. Docherty has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Rocky Mountain League Outstanding Hitter Award. "I didn't expect to hit .294 this year, that's for sure," the right fielder said. The Racine Lakers star also put up a .371 on-base percentage this year, with 142 hits, 35 doubles, 5 triples, 34 home runs, 99 RBIs and 79 runs scored. He received 24 first place votes out of a possible 32.
