Davis Batters Lincoln Big Time Saturday, April 30th , 2039 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Yokohama's 20-2 win over Lincoln today, third baseman Troy Davis was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Plumbers Ballpark. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Davis said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Troy Davis singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, walked in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Roberto Vásquez in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
