AML Player of the Week, Parreira of Newport News Monday, May 30th , 2039 Christovão Parreira of the Newport News Anchormen was locked in all week as he bullied the pitchers he faced. Parreira put up some great numbers and hauled in the Appalachian Mountain League Player of the Week trophy. He hit .444 with 1 home run and 6 RBIs. The 27-year-old first baseman also scored 4 runs and for the week went 12-for-27. Currently Parreira is batting .444 with 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. |
