Big Bang! 3 HR for Namuko's Carolino Monday, May 30th , 2039 Arturo Carolino went on a hitting rampage at Plumbers Ballpark today and got membership in the select club of hitters who have hit three home runs in a game. He walloped three into the stands to pace the Puckmen to a 14-5 victory over the Yokohama Plumbers. The Namuko right fielder collected 3 hits in 6 at-bats, drove in 4 and scored 3 runs. "I don't know, you never know when things are going to fall into place," he told the press after his big game. "Today, I didn't have any special insight or adjustment, I just happened to get three pitches I was ready for." Arturo Carolino hit a two-run home run off Mal Cooper in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Mal Cooper in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Cho-yeong Kim in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. Carolino is hitting .269 this season with 15 home runs, 36 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He has 46 hits in 171 at-bats. |
