Gorwyn Belts 5 Hits Thursday, June 2nd , 2039 It was a big day for Lawrence Gorwyn and he brought the Camaguey Tinajon along for the ride. Gorwyn led his club to a 7-1 victory over the Evansville Tri-Staters today at Tri-Staters Ballpark, smoking Evansville pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 24-year-old first baseman later called the victory "sweet." Lawrence Gorwyn flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
