AML Names Best Player Monday, July 25th , 2039 Aberdeen Golden Sands right fielder Randall Perry had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Appalachian Mountain League named him Player of the Week. Perry banged out 12 hits in 25 at-bats on the way to a .480 batting average. He also racked up 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season in 87 games, Perry has hit at a .272 clip with 82 hits, 17 home runs, 54 RBIs and 47 runs scored. |
