Everton Desforges Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Sunday, July 31st , 2039 Everton Desforges will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Santo Domingo reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Desforges was injured while throwing a pitch in the Tourists-El Dorados clash at Estadio Quisqueya recently. Doctors said he has a torn rotator cuff and would be out a minimum of 7 months. For the season Desforges has made no relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 4-2 won-lost mark and a 3.39 ERA. In pitching 63.2 innings, he has totaled 45 strikeouts and 13 walks. |
