Postseason Bid Ends for Raleigh Monday, August 29th , 2039 The Raleigh El Dorados quite simply didn't have what it took this year. The club was formally eliminated from playoff qualification in 2039. "It feels bad," said El Dorados reliever Bob Hodge, when asked for his response by reporters. "Having your biggest hopes of the year dashed feels bad." Before this season, the El Dorados last missed the playoffs in 2037. In the 11 years they have been a Global Baseball Brotherhood franchise, they have missed the playoffs 10 times. |
