Appalachian Mountain League Announces Best Starter Thursday, September 1st , 2039 Keith Dupree really strutted his stuff in August with 5 wins and no losses and walked off with the Pitcher of the Month Award in the Appalachian Mountain League . The Chesapeake Bay starter was good news for his club, but bad news for the opposition. In 40 innings of work, Dupree limited opposing batters to 32 base hits and a .224 batting average. He totaled 22 strikeouts, issued 10 walks and had a 1.35 ERA. This year Dupree has made 11 starts, thrown 68 innings, fanned 42 batters and walked 21. His won-lost record is 6-1 with a 2.25 ERA. |
