Year Over for Locomotives Thompson Sunday, September 4th , 2039 The season is apparently over for Keith Thompson. The Leeds Locomotives medical staff informed the club that the third baseman will be out at least 6 months with a ruptured medial collateral ligament. Thompson was hurt in the game against Mansfield while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This year Thompson is batting .255 with 14 hits, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs, 1 walk, .268 OBP and has scored 3 runs. |
